To make a long story short, they agreed to fix a check engine light, took $1500 and didn’t fix the light. If they will take $1500 from a disabled, single mom... they’ll do it to you as well! I used this shop for years, on multiple cars, but always for minor things like oil changes. I recently purchased a 2006 Range Rover and the engine light came on a few days after purchase. I asked Chris at Honest-1 to tell me if the car was worth repairing or if it was better to sell. After being assured there was only one issue that needed attention immediately and it was in fact a good car for a single mom I shelled out the $1500 to have them fix the issue. I got my car back days later and the check engine light was still on! Then they wanted to charge me another $1500 for another part that they hoped would fix the issue and admitted they didn’t even have all of the codes for the light or know if this part was the issue. This shop worked well for simple things like oil changes but if we’re being honest (unlike them) you can get that done cheaper at grease monkey or jiffy lube. And for other Range Rover owners, I suggest going to Kings Automotive in Vancouver. This shop does not have the capabilities to work on land rovers and they will blindly accept your money and hope they can fix an issue.
