Emergency visit 9 am. I Just Showed up; Desperate for ANY Repairs ASAP. Had Previously Prepared For the Emergency Visit that Morning with Cash to Pay Upfront if Necessary. Suspected it was Expensive Job, but Showed up, Prepared, just in case. Air blower fan on my 2000 Dodge Durango was completely nonfunctional since the night before and vehicle was wet & as cold as ice, like a deep freeze. Winter Storm had just Passed Thru Night Before. No Heat or Air whatsoever came thru any vents even at 70 MPH. I was also freezing cold & damp because I live in the Durango fulltime & use it 4 travelling in NW like a tiny, Minimalist RV'er. They were very busy; waiting room full of people, as it was a typical Saturday morning everywhere, with everybody trying to do everything all weekend they could not do during the week. Normally, I dont even go anywhere at all on weekends because everything is too busy packed with people everywhere & I usually just stay away and take care of any personal business during the weekdays. This was An *Emergency, However, & I was about half frozen on arrival. I usually prefer to make appointments so my week is better planned out. I was told the vehicle would have to just sit at the shop and they would try 2 work it in between the regular appointments and it would be there all day long and the job would be six hours at least. I was willing 2 wait for the Work 2 Be Completed, I told them. 😁🙂 They Agreed to do the Repairs and I was Delighted and Very Grateful they were willing to try to work me in. I was Also Told The Entire Dash Would Have to be completely taken Apart to Replace the Mechanical Parts not working. That's why this was such a Big deal and a Big Job. I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE THEY WERE WILLING TO TAKE MY SUV in ON THIS EMERGENCY on a busy Saturday weekend (Personal note:) OUTSIDE NITE TEMPERATURES ARE AT *32 WITH PLENTY OF WINTER STORMS ALREADY SWEEPING THRU. Very cold wind chill. ********************** 2000 Dodge Durango SUV PARTS REPLACED: BLOWER MOTOR/HVAC Blower Motor BLOWER RESISTOR/ HVAC Blower Resistor 😁🙂 ThankYou So Very Much!!
